2nd ANNUAL CHARITY TOY'S FOR TOT'S CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT
Team R.B.I Baseball and AMERICAN LEGION POST #49 will host a Tournament NOV. 1-2, 2008. Our goal is to help children and their families less fortunate at the Holiday's and bring Smile to the local children's faces.
The event will have a $100.00 entry fee and each player provides a $10.00 new toy still in manufactures container. The team may choose to write a check to U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toy's for Tot's foundation. (USMC Toys for tot $10.00 per player example: ($10.00 x 10 players = $100.00). Gate fee is $5.00 per day for adults. $3.00 per day for children 7-12 years of age and Senior Citizen, Children 6 and under free admission.
The format for play is Pool play into single elimination. All games will have an 1 hr and 45 minute time limit. There will be 2 Umpires per game and Please note that the Umpires are donating their time to call the games. This Event is designed to give something back to the community and allow teams to participate ina good atmosphere, sportsmanship, and to have fun. There will be Awards given. The teams will help make a joyful time for the less fortunate children and their families in our community this holiday season.
